Instant Gratification Bug

Today, many students are after instant education. Obtain your degree NOW! There’s too much emphasis on the NOW and I syndrome. In other words, once they step their feet on the floor, they are in a dead run. This instant gratification culture has the tendency to make a person multitask in so many areas but without depth in virtually anything.

Many moons ago people  took  time to do all things, such as cooking and building new structures, hence, things were well done. But today, technology has turned everything into instant tea, instant coffee, instant meal, instant husband and instant everything. We live in half-baked houses and raise half-baked children. Claim it now and get it straight away is now trendy. This bug has infected us to the extent we do not wait for the stars.
There is so much rush in doing everything at once with nothing done properly. Google, though an excellent technology, has made students lazy because it literally provides quick answers to queries. The result is half-baked.

Let us return to the era of merit and patience. Let’s go back to adopting true healthy value system that can make us move forward. As a student, read and avoid conforming to ‘at the moment’ lifestyle, dressing and wrong speech. You can stay different in other to glorify GOD.
