There are many operational definitions of teaching. Anyone who passes information whether true or false is involved in the act of teaching. If you are a teacher, your abilities and talents are gifts embedded in you from GOD. I am surprised educators often neglect to utilize what brings glory to HIM. However, academic preparation and instruction goes beyond lecturing and library research.
Some teachers have fallen short of the right standards. I mean the ability to disseminate knowledge in a polite and not graceless manner. It involves a reconstruction of our personal lives from the base and utilizing the favor, strength and benevolence of GOD. In practical reality, if a plant is uprooted from its source of life, it must die. Anything that loses its source from the light will die. Producing a negative result is the usual outcome. Conversely, productiveness will naturally follow firm contact with the Source of Life.
Based on my classroom experience in 2015, the first term with my students was very hectic and difficult. In actual fact, my lesson delivery turned out to be ineffective. I was burning energy while my learners pretended to understand the lesson. Consequently, things went wrong. I was perplexed and angry when my students performed far below the school standard. After thorough analysis and contemplation, I discovered that teaching which involved demonstration of my power and might was not a productive venture. Depending on my personal qualities as a teacher was inadequate because I constantly hit the rocks. How puny was my strength! Counting on my warhorse could not give me the daily victory in my act of teaching. Similarly, how many times have you tried to handle your lesson yourself? If you look back and take stock of your past failures as a teacher, you will discover that such attempts to DIY teaching was accompanied by excruciating pain. I say, 'your power and might is equal to zero. '
Generating good learning experiences involves connecting to the Source of Life for grace. It is a shame if students get to the point where they have to pray fervently and surreptitiously for the departure of a teacher from their class either because they are in a state of fear, fatigue or simply disinterested in the teachers lesson. Students can hate a teacher because of the improper manner the lesson is delivered. When this happens the classroom is bereft of good social climate. Grace from above is a factor influencing teaching and, to avoid been a liability in the course of passing knowledge, ask for it. It is vital! Nevertheless, if you are a young inexperienced teacher, I believe you have a brain and ambition to impart knowledge. You can know how to manage your students and classroom efficiently if you do your part by asking for grace. Leaning on your own strength fails at the end of the day. It is better to ask for grace and GOD will open up new opportunities.
What are the benefits of benefits of teaching with grace? Learning to teach according to grace is more effective because you gain your ground forcefully. Your mouth and mind become seasoned with grace so that you teach with inspiration and enthusiasm. Moreover, your personal qualities as a teacher is enhanced.
All things considered, depending on HIS grace helps you have insight into not only the cause of activities around your classroom but also their effects, and furthermore, the remedies to employ.
