Don't Scare the Student

  Don't Scare your students with foolish threats. Build up their confidence by telling them the truth regarding their performance and behavior. Perhaps he/she will have to stop telling lies. If so, as a teacher or tutor be sure to set good example yourself. If you are calm and cheerful, he/she will try to follow your example. 

 All students like to be considered as heroes. If the student has to repeat a class, tell him or her it will not hurt, failure is only an event, and he will soon get over it.

 Help the student to act like a grown up. 🕺
